Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana is a challenging posture sequence of standing balancing asanas.  When balancing on one leg in this posture, with the body standing tall the front and back part of the body are equally open and we enter equilibrium feeling.  The energy, nerve flow, body, mind and breath start to work as one and we enter a state of stillness. When starting to practice this asana you can feel weak and imbalanced, but if practicing regularly you will notice great improvements.
